Her story
Melissa Miles is a classically trained vocalist and music educator with 12 years of experience teaching in the classroom. She earned her Music Education degree from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, and has taught K-5 music for the last 11 years.
She is currently the choir director at a 6-12 campus, where she brings the same warmth and encouragement to her students every day that she brings to her private studio.
For the last 6 seasons, Melissa has sung with the Houston Symphony Chorus — a testament to her dedication to her own craft as a performer. Now she's ready to share that love of singing with you.

Teaching philosophy
Melissa's approach is rooted in patience, curiosity, and genuine encouragement. Lessons are never one-size-fits-all — she tailors every session to the individual student's goals, learning style, and pace.
Whether you want to sing for the pure pleasure of it, build enough confidence to perform for friends, or prepare for an audition or performance , Melissa will meet you where you are and help you get where you want to go.
Every voice has something beautiful in it. I'd love to help you find yours.
